This poem describes a moment when I was 3rd grade of primary school. I was in class room. Our teacher brought a person not to know. A person not to know is ALT. We are so confused and scared. In class, We are sing “ABC song” and “body song”,do self introduction and play some games. We enjoyed that English lesson. After that I look forward to next English lesson. This memory is the opportunity when I have begun to be interested in for my English.

This poem describes a moment when I was 8th grade of junior high school. I participated in local festival called “御神輿パレード” with my friends. This festival was held for two days, and I participated with 2nd. The ALT of my school participated on the second day, too. The ALT is Gallireo. Gallireo is my neighborhood. He speaks Japanese a little. I and Galileo talked in simple English during a festival. This memory is time when I felt my English conversation if fun.

This poem describes a moment when I was 9th grade of junior high school. I go to”kotokuin” in kamakura for school trip. There are a lot of doves and foreigners. foreigners are Chinese, Korean and American. I walked in kotokuin with my friends. Watching daibutsu and buying Souvenirs. Then, one foreigner talk to me. But, I can say nothing. I was so shocked at not say anything. An English teacher to see the state helped me. This is one of the memory that I felt regrettable about in English.

This poem describes the moment when I was 3rd grade of primary school. I had chance to talk with our school’s ALT one-on-one in English class. ALT’s name is Shasta. Shasta is Australian. She has long straight gold hair. I am so nurvus. Because, I can not speak English well. And I tried her and the one which became one-on-one for the first time. but, There was no worry. She is so kind. She watched me who was tense and talked in Japanese kindly.

This poem describs a moment when I was 3rd year of high school student. I studied English everyday. The aim of having studied English is pass the entrance exam for go to university. I repeated the same words like an incantation, in the morning reading a text book, during going to high school, I practice English words, after school do the English text, at night learning a grammar. In the end I could pass the entrance exam. but, I don’t want to remember those days.

At first, I don’t have any friends in the calm school. but, I have more interest in that English calm school. In winter I go to Australia for sightseeing with my family. my familys are father, mother, old brother, me, and little sister. my old brother is 2nd years of high school student. my little sister is 5th grade of primary school student.Sidney in Australia is so beautiful city. we go to see Ayers Rock and watch coala and Kangaroo. we speak English. but, I can’t communicate with native speaker. I was so shocked. so I want to study English more.

This poem describes a moment when I was high school student. I was hate English. Because, In high school English lesson is so difficult, fast English class’s spead, complicated grammar and difficult and over1000 English words. all of those reasons lead me hate English. Our teacher devised and a class become every slightly attractive interestingly. I came to like English thanks to the grace. but, still I did not come to like English as in the past.
HAIKU
This poem describes a moment when I was 1st years of Gunma university student. Making HAIKU in English is my first experience. At first, I was confused and tensed. the HAIKU consists 5・7・5 syllables and season words. I have hard fight for the way of thinking of the syllable very much. It is difficult to express one event by various words. However, it was felt that vocabulary increased among oneself and was very glad. In addition, I was glad that I came to be able to express one’s feeling in English well.

I had to read the book of English letter for 120000 words, during about 5month. it was a very burden for me. However, still I hundled a quote a week. Even a short sentences had trouble with reading. but, was used little by little first. I came to be finally go on reading even a long sentences smoothly to some extent.

1.Hello, My name is Yanai Daiki. My friends call me Daiki or Yanai. I am from Ishikawa town in Fukushima prefecture. I attend Gunma univerusity. I am sophomore. I major in Japanese. I have studied English for 12years. I belong to futsal circle called “CRAFT” I play soccer and futsal. I want to try kabbadi. My hobby is watching some sports like soccer, basketball, professional wrestling, and baseball. I have played soccer for 13years. I have father,mother, one old brother and one little sister. I love my family. My birthday is July 15th. My favorite season is summer. Because, summer has a lot of events.

2.Theme of this poem book is “Turning point of my English learning”. In 10 poems, I express my setback, failure, pleasure and success in English learning. Each of them are turning point of my English learning. 1st poem express my first English lesson. 2nd poem is my first met ALT. 3rd poem is local festival. 4th poem is calm school. 5th poem is school trip. 6th poem is family trip. 7th poem is entrance exam. 8th poem is hate English. 9th poem is HAIKU learning. 10th poem is tadoku learning.

1 The first English class in primary school.

I’m 4th grade of primary school. I don’t know English at all. I can’t read English and can’t speak English. But,I feel my heart beating. 
2 The moment when I talked an ALT at first  time.

Our primary school has an ALT.  Her name is Shasta. She is Australian and about 180cm high. We have a chance to talk with her one-on-one in class. I am so nurvus. But, she is very kind. I am excited talking with her.
3 The moment when I was primary school student. I participate in local festival with ALT.

I’m 6th grade of primary school. I participate in “Omikoshi parade” with my friends and Our school’s ALT gallireo. He is American. That day very hot and humid. There are a lot of people. All of people are smiling and shouting.

5 The moment when I went to Englishprivate supplementary school.

when I am junior high school student, I go to English private supplementary school. First time, I am so nurvus. I have no friends. But, I like studying English then, I go to there every time.

I am 3rd grade of junior high school. We go to Kanagawa and Tokyo. We go to “Kotokuin temple” for looking Daibutsu. It’s sunny day, and Comfortable temperature. There are lot of foreigners. One foreigner speak to me. But, I can say nothing.

When I am 2nd grade of junior high school student. I go to Australia with my family. Then Australia is summer, there is so hot and air is dry. Ayers Rock is so big. Koala is very cute.

When I was high school student, I didn’t like English. Because, high school’s English is very difficult. I was not able to follow a English class. I can’t understand what teacher’s said.

When I was university student. I made “HAIKU” in English. It was so difficult. It was only to experience it for the first time.But, class is so fun. I was able to take a class although being a pleasure.

The aim of that article is to investigate the content of poetical descriptions in relation to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and develop our  views of what second language writers see and feel through such traumatic experience. 

Second language pedagogy has focused on grammar and linguistic.

Poetry writing will improve ability of discussion, communication and expression.

Poetry writings purpose is used as a mode of learning, as a form of literacy practice to express emotions, as a means to develop Second language literacy, and as a way of healing or therapy.

Writer of Poetry can pay more attention to    meaning than forms of language.

A very high wave

and it’s fast and derk

Destroys many structures

There is nothing after it passed

My favorite poem is “Menace of Tsunami”.

The Great East Japan Earthquake happened 2011. I was second grade of  junior high school. I was in Fukushima. I felt so big fear. I thought that I will be dead by this Earthquake. Next day, I watched TV news that Tsunami destroyed some houses and drained a lot of people. I felt different fear the day before. 

This poem is nearby my feeling when I was attacked The Great East Japan Earthquake. Expression of “I lose my words  Can’t speak Can’t believe it” is so good expression. The reason why I had feelings similar to it, too.

I like this poetry because expres fear without using the words like fear, terror and horror.

I am Yanai Daiki. My birthday is July 15th.Please sent me present.

 I am Gunma university student. My major is Japanese.

I want to be a teacher. I always study hard to grant my dream.

My hobby is watching some sports, like soccer, basketball, baseball and Americanfootball.

My favorite sport is soccer.

My favorite singer is G-FREAK FACTORY.

G-FREAK FACTORY is from gunma prefecture.

I’m from Fukushima prefecture. I was born Ishikawa town.

Ishikawa town is very nice town.
